The Century Centurion Pro HST225 is a 2.25 HP pool and spa pump motor rated 3450 RPM on 115/208-230 V, built on a 56J frame with a threaded shaft.

Frame and shaft

The 56J frame is the square flange used by most residential pool pumps, and the threaded shaft is the type a pool impeller screws directly onto. Check both against the motor you are removing, along with the horsepower and service factor stamped on the old nameplate, before you order.

What is in the box

This is the motor by itself. The shaft seal, seal plate, impeller and diffuser stay with your existing wet end, so plan on a new shaft seal at the same time since the seal has to come apart to make the swap.

A 56J frame with a threaded shaft, which is the common square flange and threaded shaft combination on residential pool pumps.
