The Century Centurion Pro HSQ095 is a square flange pool and spa pump motor rated 0.95 THP at 3450 RPM, wired for 115 or 230 volts, on a 48Y frame with a threaded shaft. It runs 203 bearings at both ends.

Built around the installer

The Centurion Pro line is a professional grade motor, and most of what separates it from a plain replacement shows up during the swap rather than during running. The hybrid end frame moves the BX holes and reworks the terminal board so there is room to feed even heavy gauge wire in with clear access. The terminal board itself is formed from durable PCB material and laid out to be handled by hand or with a tool.

Wiring and service

Voltage is set with a change plug that seats on one of two clearly defined sets of angled spade terminals, so the wrong configuration does not go together by accident. Century also designed in a definitive shaft access path, which tells the installer where to hold the shaft and what to hold it with during installation or later service.

What frame and shaft is this motor?

Can it run on 115 V?
Yes. It is a 115/230 V motor. The Centurion Pro uses a voltage change plug that fits only one of two clearly marked sets of angled spade terminals, which is there to prevent mis-wiring.
