The Century B2846 is a full rated square flange pool and spa pump motor. It produces 1/2 HP, or 0.37 kW, at 3450 rpm on 230/115 volts, single phase, in a 56Y frame with a threaded shaft.

Nameplate detail

Service factor is 1.95, current is listed at SF 5.4/10.8 A, and the motor is thermally protected with an open dripproof enclosure rated to a 50 C ambient. Insulation is class F, it runs on two poles, and rotation is counterclockwise viewed from the pump end. Overall length is 12.40 inches with a frame length of 8.00 inches.

Shaft and bearings
