Reading the nameplate
Full rated matters. The output is 0.56 kW, a genuine 3/4 HP, with a 1.65 service factor on top rather than horsepower borrowed from the service factor to make a bigger number on the label. Current is 6.3 A at 230V and 12.6 A at 115V, the enclosure is open drip proof, thermal protection is automatic, insulation is class B and the duty rating is continuous to 50 C ambient. It is UL recognized and CSA listed.
Where it goes

Before you order
