Product details

The Century HSQ260 is a Centurion Pro square flange pool and spa pump motor rated 2.6 HP at 3450 RPM on 230 V. It uses a 48Y frame with a threaded shaft.

Square flange, not round

The square flange is the mounting face that bolts to the pump seal plate. It is a different pattern from a C face or round flange motor, so this is a replacement for a pump that already carries a square flange 48Y motor. The threaded shaft accepts a standard threaded impeller.

Single speed at full RPM

This is a single speed motor running at 3450 RPM. It suits a pump controlled by a timer or a simple on and off relay, where the flow rate is set by the pump and plumbing rather than by a speed controller.

Before you order

Take the nameplate off the motor you are removing and match five things: horsepower, frame, flange type, shaft type and voltage. Wet ends are often sold with more than one motor option over the years, so the model of the pump alone is not enough to go on.

How do I know it will fit my pump?
Read the nameplate on the motor coming off and match the horsepower, frame, flange type, shaft and voltage. A square flange 48Y motor will not drop into a C face or round flange seal plate.
