Product details

The Century UQC1102 is a 1 HP up rated pool pump motor, 115/230V, on a 48Y frame with a square flange. It is the energy efficient version of the standard replacement motor for several Sta-Rite pumps.

Built for pool duty

The motor runs at 3450 rpm with a 1.25 service factor and a capacitor start capacitor run design, which gives it the starting torque a pool pump needs and steadier current once it is spinning. Both ends ride on sealed ball bearings, the shaft is 303 stainless steel with a 1/2 inch thread, and the open drip proof enclosure is rated to a 50 C ambient with automatic thermal protection.

Which pumps does this motor fit?
It is listed for Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas, Dura-Glas I and II, Max-E-Pro, Dyna-Max and Dyna-Glas pumps.
Is it 115V or 230V?
Both. The nameplate lists 230/115 V, drawing 6.3 A at 230V and 12.6 A at 115V. It is wired for whichever supply you have.
The source data lists two mounting descriptions, which is right?
The product data describes it as a square flange motor and the technical specification sheet lists the mounting as round. Compare the flange on your existing motor before ordering, and ask if you are unsure.
What does up rated mean?
