Product details

Pool Season Di-Chlor chlorinating concentrate is a granular shock supplied as six 1 lb bags. Each bag is a ready measured dose, so treating the pool is a matter of opening a bag rather than scooping and weighing.

What it does

Shock knocks down the bacteria and algae that dull the water, and this one is built to restore clarity while dissolving completely so nothing settles out on the floor. The chlorine in it carries its own protection from sunlight, which means more of what you add survives the afternoon instead of burning off.

Working with your water balance

It also asks less of your acid. Compared with shocks that push pH hard, this concentrate reduces the amount of acid needed afterwards to bring the water back into balance, which matters when you are shocking regularly through the season. Keep the unopened bags dry and closed until they are needed.
