The Raypak 014357 is the indoor stack top for the model 106A pool heater, described by the manufacturer as the indoor draft hood with adapter, sized for a 6 inch vent.

What it does

A gas heater installed indoors has to send its combustion products up a flue, and the stack top is the piece that sits on the heater and makes that connection. It is what establishes the draft the burner is designed around, so it is not a component to substitute or improvise.
