The Jandy R0731100 is the four inch Category III vent adapter for Jandy Pro Series JXi pool heaters. It is the genuine factory part.

What it is for

The adapter makes the connection between the JXi heater and its four inch vent run. Venting on a gas heater is not a place to improvise: the adapter is matched to the Category III system the heater was designed around, and a generic fitting is not an equivalent.

Fitting

It replaces the original adapter on an installed JXi. Follow the heater manual and local code, and if the venting is being reworked rather than simply repaired, have a qualified gas technician do the job.
