The Jandy R0457502 is the genuine replacement igniter kit for JXi pool heaters in the 200, 260 and 400 sizes, including the JXi Jandy Pro Series. The igniter is the component that lights the burner on each call for heat, and it is one of the parts most often replaced on a gas heater as it ages.

When to replace it

A heater that runs its blower on a call for heat but never lights, then locks out on an ignition fault, often has a failed igniter. A visible crack in the element confirms it. Fitting the R0457502 kit restores normal ignition.
