Product details

The Jandy R0589500 is the gasket and seals kit for JXi pool heaters in the Model 200, 260 and 400 sizes. It is the genuine Jandy part.

Why it comes as a kit

The seals in a heater are opened up together and they should go back together. Buying them as a set means the job does not stop halfway because one gasket was not on the shelf, and it avoids the temptation to put an old seal back next to a new one.

When you need it

Any time the JXi is opened for manifold or heat exchanger work. Gaskets take a permanent set under heat and clamping load, so once they have been compressed and removed they no longer seal reliably.
