Product details

The Raypak 014842F is the natural gas burner tray for the Raypak 156A pool heater. It is the genuine Raypak part, supplied as the tray rather than as loose burners.

What the tray does

The burner tray holds the burners and positions them under the heat exchanger so the flame lands where it is supposed to. Everything about how a heater fires depends on that geometry being right. A tray that has rusted through or has ports blocked with corrosion will produce an uneven flame, and the heater becomes rough, inefficient and eventually unsafe.

Order by fuel and model

This is the natural gas version for the 156A. Propane heaters take a different tray, and the two are not interchangeable. Replacement means working on a gas appliance, so this is a job for a licensed gas or pool heater technician who can set it up and check combustion afterwards.
