Product details

The Raypak 014841F is the natural gas burner tray for the 106A pool and spa heater. It is the factory replacement, supplied as the tray assembly.

Why the tray fails

Burner trays live in a hot, damp, corrosive place. Condensate, scale falling off the heat exchanger and years of thermal cycling eat at the metal until the flame pattern goes ragged. Yellow tipping, sooting on the tubes and a heater that will not hold temperature all point back to the burners.

Before you order

Check the fuel type and the model on the rating plate. This is the natural gas tray for the 106A, and a propane heater takes a different part.

Raypak lists 014841F for use with the 106A pool and spa heater.
Is this for natural gas or propane?
Natural gas. A propane 106A uses a different burner tray, so check the rating plate first.
Does it come with the burners fitted?
It is supplied as the burner tray. Compare it to what you pull out of the heater before you order so you know what you are replacing.
When does a burner tray need changing?
When the burners are rusted through, scaled or physically damaged. The signs are ragged yellow flame, sooting on the tubes and a heater that no longer reaches temperature.
