Product details

The AquaStar WAV18WR101 is an 18 in. square mud frame with four 9 in. Square Wave anti-entrapment suction outlet covers and vented riser rings, in white, from the VGB Series.

What it does

For a single floor or wall installation, the covers are rated at 628 GPM at 1.1 fps, with a minimum sump depth of 6 in. and a 176.8 square inch opening. A trademarked VGB compliance button identifies the cover as VGB 2008 compliant, from the deck and underwater.

Fit and compatibility

The set easily and safely retrofits to 18 in. square frames that are 3/4 in. deep.

Materials and service life

The covers, frame and #316 stainless steel screws meet or exceed the ANSI/APSP 16-2011 and NSF/ANSI 50-2009a standards, with ASTM G154 UV testing exposure, and are made from UV-resistant engineered polymers. Replace the covers every five years from the date of installation. The xxx in AquaStar part numbers is the color number.
