The Polaris Genuine OEM 2-Pack 7240 Sport Track, R0765700 is a pair of replacement tracks for the Polaris 7240 Sport robotic pool cleaner, the drive surface that gives the cleaner its grip.

About the cleaner

Polaris describes the 7240 Sport (part number F7240) as a compact cyclonic robotic cleaner that navigates floors and climbs walls on a tracks drive, rated for pools up to 35 feet. Because the tracks carry the cleaner over the floor and up the wall, they wear with every cycle.

Replacing the tracks

The Polaris owner's manual for this cleaner family describes the swap. Stand the cleaner on its side. Starting at one wheel, pull the inside of the old track to separate the tire lip from the wheel, then remove it. Set the inside rib of the new track into the groove of the first wheel, stretch it around the second wheel, and check that the rib sits in the groove on both wheels, turning the wheels gently to seat it.
