The Polaris R0763400 is the ultra fine filter canister for the 7240 Sport robotic cleaner. It is the genuine Zodiac made part, the same canister the cleaner shipped with.

Ultra fine versus fine

Ultra fine media is for the small stuff: silt, pollen, fine dust and the haze that settles out after a storm or a heavy pollen week. The standard fine canister is a separate part and holds more bulk debris. Owners who deal with both usually keep one of each and swap depending on the season.

Care and replacement

Rinse the canister after every few cycles so the media does not blind over. Replace it when a wash no longer brings the color back, when the media splits, or when the frame stops seating cleanly, because a canister that does not seal quietly lets debris straight past the filter.

Supplied as one

The part number covers a single canister. A spare is worth having so the cleaner can go straight back in the water while the first one dries.
