This is the King99 mesh panel cut for a 20 by 44 ft rectangular pool with a step at the center of one end. The fabric measures 22 by 46 ft, which leaves a foot of material past the water on every side so the straps reach solid deck, and the step section is 8 ft across by 4 ft back from the waterline. Straps sit on a 5 by 5 ft grid.

Mesh is the low maintenance way to close a pool. Rain and snowmelt drop through the weave instead of gathering on the surface, so no pump has to live on the cover and nothing has to be drawn off after a storm. Two things follow from that. The pool fills over the winter and the level wants checking before you open, and because a little daylight still reaches the water, most owners double the algaecide dose at closing.
