Quick overview

Sized for a 20'x44' pool The cover itself measures 25'x49' rectangle, which gives the overlap needed to anchor it around the deck.
Solid, not mesh Sunlight and debris stay out of the water instead of passing through an open weave.
Commercial grade 14 x 14 scrim A heavy scrim count with a heavy coating, built to go back on season after season.
Bound edges The edges are finished with commercial grade binding material and thread, which is where cheaper covers fail first.
Backed for 25 years PoolTux warrants this cover for 25 years.
Plan for standing water Any solid cover holds rain and snowmelt on top, so run a cover pump through the off season to keep the load off it.

Product details

This is the PoolTux ultra premium solid winter cover for a 20'x44' rectangle inground pool. The cover panel itself measures 25'x49', so it laps well past the edge of the water on all four sides and gives you room to set water tubes or deck anchors.

What ultra premium means here

The material carries a commercial grade 14 x 14 scrim count with a heavy coating, and the perimeter is bound with commercial grade material and thread. Winter covers almost always fail at the edge first, where the binding takes the strain of the anchors and the weight of water sitting on the panel, so the binding is worth as much as the scrim count. PoolTux backs the cover with a 25 year warranty.

Solid cover, so manage the water

A solid cover blocks sunlight and keeps leaves, dirt and rain out of the pool, which means the water and debris collect on top of the cover instead. Run a cover pump through the off season and clear standing water before it turns to ice, and the panel will last the way the warranty expects it to.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What size pool is this cut for?

A 20'x44' rectangle pool. The cover itself is 25'x49', so there is roughly two and a half feet of overlap on every side to run water tubes or anchors.

Is this a solid cover or a mesh cover?

Solid. Water and fine debris stay on top of it rather than passing through, so most owners keep a cover pump running through the winter.

How long is the warranty?

25 years.

What makes this heavier than a standard winter cover?

It is built on a commercial grade 14 x 14 scrim with a heavy coating, and the edges are bound with commercial grade material and thread.
