Product details

The Jandy R0358700 is the genuine breather tube assembly kit for Jandy cartridge and DE filters. The breather tube gives air trapped at the top of the tank a way out, so the filter runs full of water and filters the way it should. When the tube cracks or breaks, air collects in the tank and performance falls off.

Fit

One part covers ten filters: the CV340, CV460 and CV580 and the CL340, CL460 and CL580 cartridge filters, and the DEV48, DEV60, DEL48 and DEL60 DE filters.

About the design change

Jandy has revised this assembly, so the part you receive may not look identical to the one you remove. It fits the same filters. Match your filter model to the list rather than the appearance of the old tube.

What does the breather tube do?
It gives air trapped at the top of the tank a path out, so the filter stays full of water and works as intended.
When should it be replaced?
If the tube is cracked, broken or missing, or if the filter keeps trapping air at the top of the tank, replace the assembly. It is a good item to check whenever the tank is open for cartridge or grid cleaning.
