Product details

The Jandy R0359500 is the D.E. grid support used inside the DEV Series diatomaceous earth filters, and it is also listed in the parts breakdown for the DEL48 and DEL60. It is the genuine Jandy part.

What it does

A D.E. filter cleans through a pack of fabric covered grids coated in diatomaceous earth. Those grids have to stay square, evenly spaced and firmly located, because water pushes hard on them every hour the pump runs. The support is the piece that holds them there. When it cracks or distorts, the grids start to shift and rub, and torn grids are the expensive result.

Before you order

This is the support only, not the grids and not the manifold. It is the kind of part worth replacing while the tank is already open for a grid cleaning or a teardown, since getting to it a second time means pulling the whole element assembly again.
