Product details

The Jandy R0358000 is the O-ring replacement kit for the DEV Series diatomaceous earth filters, the DEV48 and DEV60. It is the genuine Jandy part.

Why a kit

Filter seals rarely fail one at a time. They all live in the same water, at the same temperature, exposed to the same chemistry, so the ring that starts weeping is a preview of the rest. Buying the kit means you are not back at the pad in a month for the next one.

When to fit it

The sensible moment is a teardown you were doing anyway. If the tank is open for a grid cleaning, the seals are already off and the labor is free. A silicone lubricant on the new rings helps them seat properly when everything goes back together.
