Where it sits

The collar is on the plumbing side of the cell. It is part of the joint that connects the electrode housing to the pipe adapters, and it is what pulls that joint up so the seal underneath does its job.

What to check while you are there

A collar rarely fails on its own. If you are replacing one because of a leak, look at the pipe adapter o-ring at the same time, since a hardened or nicked o-ring is often what made the joint weep in the first place. Both are separate CompuPool parts.

Which chlorinators does it fit?
The CompuPool CPSC series. It is the pipe adapter collar for that cell housing.
Does it come with the o-ring or the pipe adapter?
No. The pipe adapter and the pipe adapter o-ring are separate CompuPool parts.
Why would the collar need replacing?
Collars crack or strip from over tightening and from years of sun and chemical exposure at the pad. A collar that no longer pulls the joint up tight leaks, and the leak is what usually brings it to your attention.
