Product details

The CompuPool JD363103Z is the housing nut for the clear cell housing on CPSC Series salt chlorine generators. Its job is to hold the electrode in the housing.

Where it sits

A CompuPool cell is built from a clear housing, the electrode that goes inside it, an o-ring and this nut. The nut is what clamps everything together and lets the o-ring seal. It is a plastic part in a wet, salty, chlorine rich environment, and it is the piece that cracks when the assembly is forced together too hard or has simply aged.

Ordering and fitting

This listing is the nut alone. CompuPool sells the electrode, the clear housing, the pipe adapters and the o-rings separately, so if a cell has been apart for a while it is worth replacing the o-ring at the same time. Tighten the nut by hand only. The seal comes from the o-ring, not from how hard the nut is turned.
