Product details

This is the Filbur FC-6460 replacement cartridge four pack for the Pentair Clean and Clear Plus 240. It cross references to PCC60, C-7469, 16011 and FC-1975.

A full set, not one element

The Clean and Clear Plus 240 runs a set of four cartridges around a central manifold, and this listing is all four. Each element is a 60 sq ft cartridge measuring 7 inches across and 14-1/8 inches long, with 3 inch openings at the top and the bottom.

Replace them as a set

Cartridges wear together. Once the pleats have softened and the media has loaded with oils and fine dirt, cleaning stops recovering pressure and the elements are done. Dropping one old cartridge back in with three new ones simply pushes more water through the tired element, so change the whole set.

Check before you order

Take the old cartridge out and measure it against the listed dimensions. Pentair has used more than one cartridge size across the Clean and Clear range, and the length is the quickest way to tell them apart.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

How many cartridges come in this listing?
Four. That is the full set for the Pentair Clean and Clear Plus 240.
What does the 60 sq ft refer to?
The rating of each cartridge, which is where the PCC60 designation comes from. Four of them make up the set the 240 tank is built around.
Will these fit my filter?
They are listed for the Pentair Clean and Clear Plus 240 and cross reference to PCC60, C-7469, 16011 and FC-1975. Match your old cartridge to the listed dimensions of 7 inch diameter by 14-1/8 inch long with 3 inch openings before ordering.
Should I replace all four at once?
Yes. Cartridges load up at a similar rate, so leaving one old element in the tank sends more flow through it and shortens the life of the new ones.
