The CCP420 does not run on a single cartridge. It carries four elements of 105 sq ft each, and this listing covers one of them. If you are doing a full change, order four.
Why a full set is worth it
Cartridges load with dirt as they age, and a worn element passes less water than a new one. Drop one new element into a filter with three old ones and the water takes the path of least resistance straight through the new cartridge. It fouls quickly, the pressure climbs again sooner than expected, and the set never balances out.
