The Pentair R173573 is the genuine OEM replacement cartridge for the Clean & Clear Plus CCP320 filter. It carries 80 square feet of media, and four of them make up the 320 square feet the filter is rated for. The part was originally listed by Pac-Fab as 178580.
Dimensions
Twenty inches long and seven inches in diameter, with a 3 inch open hole in both the top and the bottom end cap. The media is folded into 170 pleats, which is where the 80 square feet of surface area comes from. Measure an old cartridge against those numbers if you are not certain which Clean & Clear Plus you have.
Replacing a set
Four cartridges go into the filter. Elements that have run the same hours are usually due at the same time, so replacing the whole set keeps flow even across the tank and avoids a repeat teardown a few months later. A single cartridge makes sense when one has been damaged rather than worn out.
Why cartridges wear out
