The Nidec EZCOM1 is an EcoTech EZ interface adapter made for use with EcoTech EZ replacement variable speed motors on swimming pool pumps.
What it does
The EZCOM1 lets an EcoTech EZ motor communicate with a 3rd party pool control system, such as a Jandy Aqualink or a Hayward ProLogic system, or any pool control system that uses low voltage connections. It sends one output signal so the pool control system can properly time the operation of other equipment pad items alongside the pump.
Setup
Once the four custom flow, or speed, settings are set in the motor, the EZCOM1 wires between the motor and the communication board. The kit includes the interface adapter, an RS-485 cable, an RJ12 power tap, input and output cables, and an interface adapter manual.
