Raypak 100-10000635 is the 100K inlet temperature sensor for the Crosswind V pool heat pump. It is the genuine Raypak part, matched to the resistance curve and connector the control board expects.

What the inlet sensor does

The heat pump decides what to do based on the water temperature coming in. That reading drives whether the unit calls for heat, how it stages, and what it puts on the display. The Crosswind V leans on that information heavily for its status reporting and diagnostics, so when the sensor drifts the unit does not simply run a little off, it starts reporting faults that have nothing to do with the real problem.

Before you swap it

Check the obvious things first. Confirm flow through the unit is good, the filter is clean and the plumbing is not restricted, since a starved heat pump produces temperature complaints of its own. If the reported inlet temperature does not agree with a thermometer in the water, replace the sensor.
