Product details

The Raypak 009832 is the D-2 power vent kit for Raypak model 206 to 266 and 207 to 267 IID pool heaters. It replaces the standard draft hood and lets the heater be vented under power, indoors or out.

How it works

The D-2 mounts in place of the draft hood and pushes flue gases out through the vent rather than relying on natural draft. A draft proving switch checks that the blower is running before the heater is allowed to fire. With the vent installed the heater holds 82 percent thermal efficiency.

Installation options

The kit is rated for indoor or outdoor installation and is through-the-wall capable. Add a field supplied adjustable 90 degree elbow and the flue can be turned to discharge in whatever direction the room or wall requires. The cabinet is galvanized steel with a PolyTuf powder coat in cool dark gray, matched to the heater.

Electrical

The vent is listed at 240 VAC and draws 1 A. Confirm your heater model falls in the 206 to 266 or 207 to 267 range before ordering.
