Product details

The Nature2 spa stick is a mineral purifier cartridge that drops inside your spa filter and works for four months. It is not a replacement for your sanitizer, it is what lets you use less of it.

How it works

Every time the pump runs, filtered water passes through the cartridge. A non electrical reaction there activates oxygen, and that acts on bacteria, algae and viruses in the water. Because that work is happening continuously, the bromine or chlorine has less to do, and Nature2 says the spa can then be maintained at a lower sanitizer level than it otherwise would need.

What you still need

A sanitizer and a non-chlorine MPS shock. The stick works with bromine or chlorine and is compatible with ozone systems. What it changes is the amount, not the need.

Why spa owners like it

Less sanitizer means less chemical smell and water that feels better to sit in. Mineral action is also not thrown off by spa temperatures, which keeps the water balance simpler to hold through a hot summer.

How does it install?

The cartridge slips inside the spa filter. There is no plumbing and no power, so it goes in when you next pull the filter.

How long does one last?

Four months, then it is replaced.

Does it replace bromine or chlorine?

No. It assists the sanitizer rather than replacing it. Nature2 says the spa can then be run at a lower bromine level, and it should still be used with a non-chlorine MPS shock.

How does it work without electricity?
