The detailed description gives 6-5/8" as the overall outside diameter with a 5-5/8" bottom lip, and a height of about an inch. What diameter is this lid?

How do I confirm this is my lid?
Turn the old one over. This lid has 8388 molded into the bottom of the lower ring.
Does it screw on?
No. It has no threads. It seats into the pot and is held by a lock ring.
Should I replace the o-ring too?
It is the sensible move. The lid o-ring is a separate part, and a new lid on a flattened old seal will still pull air.
