P32X022SS is the sand and silt filter bag from Water Tech, the fine mesh option for the Max HD, the Volt FX-8 and the Volt FX8-Li battery powered pool vacuums.
When to use the fine bag
The bag that ships with these vacuums is built for general cleanup: leaves, hair, the debris you can see. Fine sand and silt is a different problem. Vacuum a dusty floor with a standard bag and much of it goes in one end and straight out the other, leaving a cloud behind the unit. The sand and silt mesh is tight enough to hold that material until you empty it.
Care
Empty the bag as soon as you finish and rinse it through from the clean side. A finer mesh loads up faster than a standard bag, so expect to service it more often on a sandy pool. Replace it when the mesh tears or when a rinse no longer restores suction.
