The AquaStar WAV12WR102 is a 12 inch square black anti-entrapment suction outlet cover from the AquaStar VGB Series, supplied with a vented riser ring and mud frame.

What it does

The cover sits over a pool drain to meet anti-entrapment safety standards while allowing water to flow into the suction line. This one is rated for 361 GPM at 1.3 fps in single floor or wall use, with a 90.8 square inch opening, and retrofits most brands' existing 12 inch square, 3/4 inch deep drain frames.

Standards and construction

The cover is made of UV-resistant engineered polymer and is assembled with number 316 stainless steel screws. It meets ANSI/APSP 16-2011 and NSF/ANSI 50-2009a national standards and passes ASTM G154 ultraviolet exposure testing.
