The Hayward WGX1032BHF2 is a 12 in. square high flow main drain grate, supplied with its inner frame. It is the genuine Hayward part.

Flow ratings

The grate is rated 515 GPM when installed in the pool floor and 308 GPM when installed in a wall. Those numbers matter: a suction outlet cover has to be rated at or above the maximum flow the line behind it can draw, and floor and wall positions are rated separately because the approach to the grate differs.

What is included

This part is the grate and the inner frame together, so the frame does not have to be sourced separately when the original is damaged or missing.

Replacing a drain cover

Cracked, faded or missing main drain covers are replaced, not patched. Check the rating stamped on the cover you are removing against the flow of your system, and confirm the replacement suits the position it is going into.
