Product details

The Hayward WG1054AVPAK2 is a pair of 8 inch dual suction outlet main drains for concrete pools, each supplied complete with its sump and grate. They come in white.

Plumbing

Each sump gives you a 2 inch FIP side outlet and a 2 inch FIP bottom outlet, so the pipe can leave whichever way the run needs. The cover has 8.10 square inches of open area, and the approved flow figures are 125 GPM on the floor in the horizontal position and 72 GPM on a wall in the vertical position.

Why they come in twos

Main drains are installed as a pair and plumbed together so no single outlet can be blocked off by a body or a load of debris. That is why this part is sold as a 2 pack rather than singly.
