Product details

A 25 by 45 ft pool is a big rectangle, and this King99 mesh panel is cut for it with the step at the middle of one end. The fabric finishes at 27 by 47 ft, giving a foot of overlap on all four sides for the straps to reach deck anchors, and the step section measures 8 ft across by 4 ft back from the waterline.

Size is worth thinking about before installation day. Straps sit on a 5 by 5 ft grid, so a perimeter this long means a long list of anchors to tamp into the deck, and it also means the panel is heavier to handle on and off. Mesh helps on both counts: the fabric is lighter than a coated solid sheet, and once it is on there is no pump to tend, because rain and snowmelt pass through the weave and into the pool.

Does a bigger pool get a bigger step section?
No, the step area is the same 8 ft wide by 4 ft back at the waterline as on the smaller panels in this range. It is the pool dimension that changes, not the step cutout, so measure your step and check it fits inside those figures.
How many anchors will a pool this large need?
Straps sit on a 5 by 5 ft grid, so the count scales with the perimeter: a 27 by 47 ft panel carries a strap roughly every 5 ft all the way round, and every strap ends at its own deck anchor. Plan on drilling each one into concrete or paver decking.
Is a cover pump required?
Not with mesh. The water goes through the fabric and into the pool, so there is nothing standing on top to remove. A solid cover of this size would need a pump watched all winter.
Does debris still get into the pool?
Leaves and larger debris stay on top of the mesh while the water drains through, so they never reach the pool floor. Some light does get through the weave, which is why the algaecide dose at closing is commonly doubled under mesh.
