The AquaStar 1020F104 is the large 2 inch return fitting for fiberglass and steel wall pools, supplied in blue with both the gasket nut and the eyeball nut.

What the pieces do

The gasket nut is what pulls the fitting up tight against the wall and stops water tracking behind it. The eyeball nut holds the directional eyeball once you have aimed the return where you want the flow to go.
