Product details

The Intermatic PE140 is a single circuit valve actuator control with a built in timer, rated for 120 or 240 VAC and supplied with an enclosure.

What it controls

Motorized valves handle the changeovers on a pool system: pool to spa, filter to solar, main drain to skimmer. On their own they need something to tell them when to turn. The PE140 is that something for one valve, with a timer so the change happens on a schedule rather than every time somebody walks out to the equipment pad.

Installation notes

The unit is one circuit, so a system with two motorized valves needs a second control. It is dual voltage, which means it drops into either a 120 VAC or a 240 VAC supply, and it comes with its own enclosure for outdoor equipment pad mounting. Wiring should follow local electrical code.
