The Intermatic T30000R5 is a 100 amp load center subpanel with eight breaker spaces, built for pool and spa equipment.

What a load center does on the pad

A pool pad has more circuits than most people expect: the filter pump, the booster, the light transformer, the heater, and often a GFCI receptacle. Running each one back to the house panel means long circuits and a service panel that fills up fast. A subpanel at the pad takes one feed and splits it locally, which cuts installation cost and keeps the pool circuits in one place where a tech can find them.

Timers and devices

The enclosure is built to accept most of the hard wired Intermatic T100 mechanical mechanisms and the PE digital timers, so the clock lives in the same box as the breakers. Adding a T30604R mechanism gives you two speed pump control. The dead front carries two knockouts and there is a third on the side, so switches or GFCIs can be mounted in the panel. Those wiring devices need standoffs, which are ordered separately.
