Product details

The Polaris 6-211-00 is the genuine jet sweep harness for the Polaris 165 and Polaris 65 pool cleaners. It is the molded plastic piece that carries the jet sweep hose on the cleaner body.

What it does

The sweep hose is what whips debris off the floor and out of corners ahead of the cleaner. The harness holds that hose at the right angle and height. Once it cracks or a mount snaps, the sweep drops out of position, the whipping action goes flat and the cleaner starts leaving dirt in the same places every cycle.

Before you order

This listing is the harness alone. The sweep hose assembly and the sweep head are separate Polaris parts, so check all three while the cleaner is out of the water. Harnesses go brittle with age and sun exposure, and they often break at a mounting point rather than in the middle.
