Product details

The Polaris R0842000 is the genuine feed hose connector o-ring for the Quattro Sport pool cleaner. It seals the joint where the feed hose meets the cleaner body.

Why a small ring matters

A pressure side cleaner runs on the water pushed down its feed hose. Every point where that water can escape before it reaches the cleaner is lost drive. The connector o-ring is one of those points, and once it has flattened, hardened or picked up a nick it leaks quietly rather than obviously.

When to fit one

Replace the ring whenever the feed hose has been off for service, and any time the cleaner has slowed without an obvious cause elsewhere. It is the cheapest thing to rule out.
