Product details
The Raypak 006706F is the genuine inlet and outlet header assembly for the R185A, R265A and R335A pool heaters, supplied with its gasket. It is the Capron type header, and it is the piece the pool plumbing connects to at the heat exchanger.
When to replace it
Headers fail by cracking or weeping rather than by wearing out gradually. Water running down the plumbing end of the heater, or a hairline split you can see once the panel is off, is a header problem. It is replaced as a complete assembly, which is why this part is sold that way and why the gasket comes with it.
