The US Seal Manufacturing RD-35-370 is a 35 MFD, 370 volt AC round run capacitor for single phase pool pump motors.

What it does

A run capacitor stays in the motor circuit while the motor is running, holding the motor at the correct running torque and speed. The RD-35-370 is rated at 35 MFD and 370 volts AC, and its case is round rather than oval.

Choosing the right capacitor

Match the MFD and voltage rating on the old capacitor exactly, and match the case shape too, since a round capacitor will not fit a mount built for an oval case. This capacitor is also listed under the number 12718.
