The TEC #939 is AccuColor sanded grout in Mist, a polymer-enhanced cement grout sold in a 25 lb bag for tile joints from 1/8 to 1/2 inch wide.

What it does

AccuColor sanded grout is made to give wear-resistant, color consistent joints in installations from residential up to extra heavy commercial. It performs in high traffic and wet conditions. The curing process is chemically controlled, which helps the grout cure evenly colored, with rich, uniform pigmentation and strong, smooth joints.

Where to use it

Sanded grout is used primarily for floor tile, and for walls and countertops when the joints are wider. Mixed with water, AccuColor sanded grouts meet ANSI A118.6, the specification for commercial cement grout.

How much you need

One 25 lb bag grouts roughly 50 to 80 square feet of pool tile. Coverage depends on tile size: small mosaic tiles such as 1 inch by 1 inch take more grout than 6 inch by 6 inch tiles, so plan for the lower end of that range when the tile is small.
