Product details

The Lasco 401-210 is a 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 by 3/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC reducing tee with slip fittings on all three ports.

What it does

A reducing tee joins pipe at a branch where the branch line is a smaller size than the run. Here the two run ports are 1-1/2 inch and the branch port is 3/4 inch, all sized to glue directly onto Schedule 40 PVC pipe.

Fit and compatibility

It fits 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 pipe on the run and 3/4 inch Schedule 40 pipe on the branch. Westlake catalogs the same fitting as 401210BC.

Before you order

Check that the branch you are tapping into is 3/4 inch, since a different reducing tee is needed for any other branch size. As with other Schedule 40 slip fittings, clean and prime all three sockets and the mating pipe ends before applying PVC cement, and hold the joints together briefly while the cement sets.
