This is the plain rectangle version of the King99 mesh cover, cut for a 12 by 24 ft inground pool with no step outside the rectangle. The panel measures 14 by 26 ft, so a foot of fabric reaches past the water on each side and out onto the deck where the anchors are set.

A smaller pool does not get an easier standard. ASTM F1346 sets its 485 lb static load test for any cover on a pool more than 8 ft wide, so a 12 ft width is tested the same way a 25 ft one is, and the same section requires standing water to be gone within half an hour of the rain stopping. Mesh handles the drainage part continuously, since the water is passing down through the weave and into the pool as it falls.
