Product details

A 16 x 32 ft rectangle with a right side step is the pool this King99 cover is cut for. The mesh panel runs 18 x 34 ft, the foot of extra fabric on each side being the overlap that reaches the deck and takes the anchors. The step area measures 8 ft wide by 4 ft back at the water line.

  • Green self draining mesh, so rain and snowmelt go into the pool and nothing sits on top.
  • Listed at 7 oz with a burst strength of 670 PSI.
  • Straps on a 5 ft grid, each with a commercial grade stainless steel spring holding the tension.
  • Flush mount brass anchors that tamp level into concrete or paver decking and wind up with a hex key.

The anchors are the permanent half of this purchase. They are drilled into the deck once and stay there for the life of the cover, tamped down level with the surface each spring so the patio is clear through the swim season and wound back up each autumn to take the springs. That is also why the deck matters: it has to run around all four sides of the pool for the straps to have anywhere to go. Get the anchor layout right the first time and the rest of the install is tensioning straps evenly. The warranty is 20 years limited, 5 full.

Do the anchors leave something sticking out of my deck?
No. Flush mount brass anchors are tamped down until they sit level with concrete or paver decking, so once the cover comes off in spring the deck is walkable with nothing to catch a foot. A hex key raises them again at closing.
What pool does this cover fit?
A 16 x 32 ft rectangle with a step on the right side. The 18 x 34 ft figure is the panel, cut a foot larger on each side for the deck overlap.
How much of my step will the cover sit over?
The step section is 8 ft wide and comes 4 ft back at the water line. Measure your step on both axes at the water line and check it fits inside that, since the cutout is fixed when the cover is made.
Can I install a safety cover myself?
Many owners do. The kit includes the tamping tool for setting the anchors and a rod for hooking the springs, and the work is drilling accurate anchor holes and getting even tension across the straps. Anchor placement is the part worth taking slowly, since the holes are permanent.
