This King99 panel is the left step version for a 16 x 36 ft rectangular pool. The fabric is 18 x 38 ft, which gives roughly a foot of overlap on every side to lie on the deck and take an anchor, and the step area is cut 8 ft wide by 4 ft back at the water line.

• Rain and melting snow drain through into the pool, so the surface never holds water.

Left and right are the two things to get right before ordering, and the step size is the third. The cutout is built into the panel on one side only, so a left step cover has no use on a pool whose step sits at the other end, and it covers a fixed 8 by 4 ft area either way. Measure the step along the wall and out into the water, and measure the pool itself at the water line rather than across the coping. One more check while you are out there: safety covers anchor into the deck, so confirm there is deck on all four sides. The warranty is 20 years limited, 5 full.
