This King panel is cut for a 16 x 32 ft rectangular inground pool with the step centered on one end. The fabric measures 18 x 34 ft, so a foot of material lands on the deck at each edge once the straps are tensioned. The step panel runs 8 ft across and comes 4 ft back from the pool at the water line, which is worth checking against your own step with a tape.

Because it is a solid panel, water sits on the surface rather than draining into the pool, and PoolTux lists a cover pump as the other way of shifting it. On the safety side, ASTM F1346 loads a cover on a pool wider than 8 ft with 485 lb, applied as 210, 225 and 50 lb over a square foot each inside a 3 ft radius. Anchors need deck the whole way round the pool.
