Product details

This is a complete closing package for a 24 ft round above ground pool: a solid winter cover, the winch and cable to hold it down, a 15K chemical closing kit and a 4 ft by 8 ft air pillow.

The cover

The cover measures 28 ft, giving a 4 ft overlap around a 24 ft pool. It is 8 mil, silver on black triple laminated polyethylene with heat sealed seams. Aluminum grommets sit every three feet around the edge for the cable. It is backed by a 15 year warranty and the warranty card is in the box.

Holding it down

A deluxe aluminum cable winch and a vinyl coated steel lock down cable are included, which is what most bundles leave out. The air pillow goes under the cover before you close it up, so winter ice presses on the pillow rather than the pool wall and rain and melt run off toward the edges instead of pooling in the middle.

Closing chemicals

The 15K chemical closing kit is included. Closing kits are sized by pool volume, so check that rating against your pool before you order.

What size cover does a 24 ft round pool need?
A 28 ft cover, which is what this bundle uses. The extra four feet is the overlap that lets the cable draw the cover snug around the pool wall.
What holds the cover down?
